This registration is simple despite the complex instructions.
Use the following as a reference as you go through the process:

Begin by clicking on the Prepare & Submit button under File Online FBAR.
Note: For EIN, use your Social Security Number or ITIN

Complete the form step by step. Make sure that all required information that is marked with an * is filled in accurately.

Review your information and make sure all information is correct.

Click on the “Sign the Form” button and press submit to finalize your FBAR submission.
- 5Provide a copy to your tax return preparer if applicable, as much of the same information is needed for other forms (8938, 8891, etc.).
